Data We Collect
When you register, we collect the account details you provide, such as your name, email address, mobile number, country calling code, consent choices, and—when applicable—school details. Google or Facebook sign-in may also provide your profile picture and provider account identifier. Parent-created child profiles may contain a display name, grade, birth year, preferences, and learning progress.
At account creation we also record a limited technical snapshot for security, abuse prevention, support, and service analytics. It may include your public IP address; an approximate country, region, city, postal code, timezone, and coordinates derived from that IP; network provider/ASN; browser user-agent and low-entropy client hints; preferred language; browser timezone; viewport and screen dimensions; touch capability; referral page; landing path; and Cloudflare request identifiers.
We do not request device GPS location during registration. IP-derived locations and coordinates are approximate and may identify a VPN, mobile carrier, or network gateway rather than your physical location.
How We Use Your Data
We use this data to create and secure accounts, prevent registration abuse, provide and personalise PlayPuzzle, save progress, administer schools and subscriptions, investigate technical problems, understand regional service usage, and send optional updates only when you have chosen to receive them. We do not sell personal data.
Consent and Your Choices
Acceptance of the Terms of Service and acknowledgement of this Privacy Policy are required to create an account. Marketing consent is separate and optional. We record the policy version, time, registration method, and whether each choice was granted. You can withdraw marketing consent from your profile or by contacting us.
Access and Security
Registration IP, location, and device context are treated as sensitive account-security data and are available only to authorised platform administrators. School administrators do not receive this information. We use access controls and Cloudflare infrastructure to protect stored data, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Children's Privacy (COPPA)
Child profiles are created and controlled by a parent, guardian, or authorised school user and contain no email address or independent social login. Child activity is linked to a pseudonymous profile identifier. Registration network and browser context is collected for the adult or school account being created, not separately from a child profile. Parents can delete child profiles from their account dashboard.
Retention
Account and registration records are retained while the account remains active and as needed for the purposes described above. When an account is deleted, sign-in identifiers, profile details, consent records, and registration context are removed or anonymised. Limited transactional or audit records may be retained when required for legal, security, accounting, or dispute-resolution purposes.
Data Deletion Instructions
To request account deletion, email playindia@gmail.com from your registered address with the subject “Delete My Account”. We may need to verify ownership before processing the request.
Your Rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data; withdraw optional consent; or raise a grievance about our processing. Contact us using the address below.
