How to Play

Every session is built around fast rolls, immediate rewards, and one more upgrade.

  1. Pick Your Dice Multiplier

Choose x1, x2, or x5 before rolling. Higher multipliers spend more dice but scale many rewards, raids, and event points.

  2. Tap Roll and Move

The dice animate, your token hops around the 28-tile district loop, and the tile you land on resolves right away.

  3. Collect Tile Rewards

Coins, bank bonuses, gifts, shields, dice boosts, cards, discounts, event points, raids, attacks, and light toll penalties keep each lap varied.

  4. Upgrade the District

Spend coins on five buildings. Upgrades raise district value, grant progress, repair damage, and eventually unlock the next themed district board.

  5. Chase Events and Collections

Open card packs, complete album sets, claim daily gifts, raid vaults, challenge friends, and collect City Sprint milestones for extra dice and coins.

Game Features

A compact hybrid-casual loop designed for phone screens, fast feedback, and generous early progression.

Animated Dice Rolls

Quick dice bounce animation, responsive roll button, multiplier selector, and smooth token movement from tile to tile.

Building Progression

Five buildings per district, escalating costs, discount boosts, damage repair, completion rewards, and new board unlocks.

Reward Tiles

Coins, big banks, gifts, dice, shields, card packs, event points, boosts, and mild tolls make every lap feel active.

Raid Mini-Game

Landing on raid opens six hidden vaults. Pick three, reveal rewards, and hunt for the jackpot.

Attack and Shields

Attack simulated friends, earn coin payouts, see shield blocks, and keep up to three shields ready for defense.

Sound and Voice FX

Short reward tones and Web Speech API callouts add modern arcade feedback, with separate toggles in Settings.

Original District Boards

Each board uses its own name, color direction, and building set so progression feels fresh without copying existing board game IP.

City Sprint Event

Event points come from Sprint tiles, raids, attacks, gifts, and upgrades. Milestones grant coins, dice, and card packs.

Daily and Free Gifts

Daily streak rewards, timed free gifts, and dice regeneration support quick return sessions.

Simulated Social Play

Fake friends, local gifts, direct challenges, attack targets, leaderboard rows, and a chat-style feed create a social feel without a backend.

Local Save Data

Player resources, buildings, event progress, cards, friends, and feed state persist in localStorage.

Backend-Ready Hooks

The structured data model can later sync real friends, live events, cloud saves, push notifications, purchases, and anti-cheat validation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Dice District Rush free?

Yes. It is a free browser game prototype with no sign-up, backend, or required payment flow.

Does it work on phones?

Yes. The main game and this details page are mobile-first, touch-friendly, and responsive across common iPhone and Android sizes.

Where is progress saved?

Important game state is stored locally in the browser with localStorage, including coins, dice, shields, buildings, cards, event progress, and social feed data.

Is this based on Monopoly or another branded game?

No. Dice District Rush uses original districts, buildings, cards, UI, progression, and simulated social systems while using broad dice-board progression mechanics.
